New Brute snowblower issue.

I just got a new snowblower. Model 1695575.

I got it out of the crate and assembled what needed to be assembled. At least I think I did. I fired it up for the first time and it started right up. However I can't get the auto drive to kick in. I hold down the lever on the handle but it won't move. Could there be a cable that I am missing or maybe loose? I didn't have a lot of time to mess with it this morning because I had to leave for work. But we have a big snow storm coming tomorrow and i'd like to have this thing running. This is my first snowblower so I'm a little on the newbie side of things.

Thanks in advance.

I just read the manual, do the following-

SET THE LENGTH OF THE CABLES
The cables were adjusted at the factory and no adjustments should be necessary. However, after the handles are put in the operating position, the cables can be too tight or too loose. If an adjustment is necessary, see “Check And Adjust The Cables” in the
MAINTENANCE section. It's on page 30 and 31 of the manual.

The cable could be too loose and that's why it won't engage the drive.

Yea I just read that too. I'm going to check that tonight when I get home. Thanks for your time. Looks like if that's not the case then maybe the belt came loose. Either way I'm sure it's something dumb that I should of been able to figure out. Beer 4U2
