Hello all i need some help with my blower, the motor turns on and runs great but the auger is not spinning! Could it be the gear box and if it is does anyone know a good spot for parts?? Thanks for any help..

The issue could be a number of things. What is the model and serial numbers off the back base of your machine?

What have you checked so far?
Broken or loose belt.
Auger blades bolted to the auger axle or spin freely.
Can you turn the impeller by hand and with the other hand feel the auger blades move.
Stand the machine on it's bucket, take the skid plate off and look inside.

Most common failures are:

1). shear pins in the auger are sheared. They look like bolts.
If this is the case, DO NOT use any ole bolt. Get the correct shear pin. Shear pins are soft and are made to break.
Using a standard bolt, the bolt will not break and will cause the gears insdie to break and/or strip.
Shear pins: $2.00 each. Gears:$50 plus labor.

2). broken belt. Check it by removing the cover that is located in front of the engine.

Toro 824 auger not spinning

Thanks for the help guys.. I took apart the gear box and of course the worm gear is shredded. I also noticed that the box was dry meaning that the oil leaked out causing the gears to shred. Thanks again
