Need to start snowblower no key

I just bought a Tecumseh 8.5 27" snowblower and realized it did not come with a key.
I tried several items in the key slot without success.

Any ideas?

Also looking to download owner's manual.

Thanks in advance:

If the items you tried were metal it will not work as it will still be grounding out the coil. If you look underneath the carb box where the key goes in you will see a small wire clip. It is spring loaded so when key is removed it touches metal box and grounds out coil. You can insert something plastic or wooden to separate the wire from the carb box or follow the green wire down and disconnect it. You most likely have a secondary way to shut off engine at the throttle control. You should be able to get one of these keys at any small engine shop or a sears parts center, but again you really do not need it.
