Ariens Repower Question

Hi, I recently put a B&S intek on my old Ariens snowblower (which, by the way, is awesome!) and have a quick question for those have had done something similar. What did you do for the belt cover? I had to shave off some plastic to make it thinner to fit between the chute and block, but the shaft is slightly too long and wore through the cover. Any suggestions on a cover, esp since it was a pretty clean swap and a well done cover would be nice. Thanks!

Have a look at this thread,

Replacement snow engine for old Ariens Snowblower - Tecumseh, B&S, Honda?

This guy did the same thing.

Covers are pretty specific to the machine, If the crankshaft is too long and the pulley is not at the end, just cut off excess crankshaft.
