mtd 290r blower

Have a 290r blower that was working fine and now the primer bulb does not fill with gas and keep the unit running, it does start but does not stay running. Is this just a primer bulb issue or is there a diaphram issue as well?

It could be a number of things. Check the primer bulb and fuel lines for cracks. I'm betting you'll find a problem in that area. If so, I suggest replacing the primer and all lines at the same time.

I do hear air escape when the primer bulb is pressed, I'll check all lines too. They were recently replaced. Thank you.
