McCulloch Mac 60 Trimmer

McCulloch Mac 60 Trimmer

I was given this trimmer and was wondering how old it is, it has a full crankshaft which would indicate to me it that it is pretty old and probably a good product, the tag indicates it was made in Japan, Mac 60 sn J0039136, any search I do comes up with a chain saw. Thanks for any info you can provide. Have a good one. Geo

Your unit may actually be an Echo. McCulloch had some trimmers made for them by Echo. Look at an IPL at the Echo website for an SRM-200 and see if this perhaps is your unit. McCulloch also built some of their own units that were basically clones of the Echo unit with some minor differences (carburetor mtg, ignition module), but many of the parts were interchangeable. I am thinking that these are early to mid 1980 units, many parts are NLA from Echo and McCulloch.

Best of Luck....
