Briggs 28n707 head removal

I'm looking to remove the head on a 28n707 but have never removed one on an overhead valve motor. I would imagine that it just unbolts and the only loose parts are the pushrods from the cam. I want to clean the carbon and check to see if the valves are closed all the way. Any help would be great.

Thanks Tool Nut

Pretty much the push rods and rocker arms, but you will also have to take the intake and exhaust manifolds loose from the head in order to remove it from the engine block.

Best of Luck....
