Husqvarna 125L, need to lock shaft to remove starter cup coupler

Hi, new member, I've been lurking for a while.

I have a Husqvarna 125L String trimmer. It's been great, but the starter cup broke. I ordered and new one (surprise, they changed the design so it won't break again).

However, when I get in there, the starter cup is held on by a coupler and the coupler turns with the engine. Any way to lock the engine somehow, so I can take off the coupler? Like, somewhere I can insert a screwdriver that locks the motor from turning so I can get this coupler off?

Thanks!

Take the spark plug out and push some old pullrope in the plug hole. The piston will come up and hit the rope, keeping the engine from turning while not damaging any parts.
