snapper snow thrower starts runs but when stall wont restart

i have a snapper snow thrower that runs great when its working
but today it shut off under load i think and then it would not restart. its about 10 years old . after it cools down i should be able to start. happened a few times and would restart hours later
what does it do this?
i didnt let it warm up to long when i used it today so could that be it

Sounds like a bad coil. Coil gets hot then loses conncetion.

May be a blocked vent in the fuel cap. Post the engine numbers & the pro's can be more model specific. Try to run it with the fuel cap loose a bit & see if it helps. Good Luck, Roger
