Fuel line connections-Eager beaver 282...

Hello.
I was given a McCulloch Eager Beaver 282 trimmer. A forgotten one at that. There were only bits of fuel line coming out of the gas tank. These bits of fuel line and the primer bulb crumbled like a cracker at first touch. I bought a new primer bulb, fuel line, fuel filter, spark plug, and carb kit. The only thing I can't figure out is where the fuel lines go between the gas tank, the primer bulb, and the carb. On the right side of the carb, behind/below the choke arm is a 1/8" x 1/2" brass tube. On the left side near the bottom rear corner is a 1/16" x 1/2" brass tube. The primer bulb has one long and one short plastic nipple. There are two holes in the gas tank for the fuel lines. I placed the fuel filter on one fuel line thru one hole and just fed another line thru the other hole.
And that's where I'm at.
I'm hoping some one can help with advising in how to connect the three.
Thank you

The line that goes in the tank with the filter goes to the inlet on the carb. Then, a short line goes from the carb to the suction side of the primer. The pressure side of the primer goes to the fuel line that just sticks in the tank. Press the primer and see which fitting has pressure, and that's the pressure side.

Thanks. Tried it. Works just fine. Set the the Hi and Lo screws; now I think I've got a half decent little trimmer. Cost ... 20 bucks for the small parts. Love getting free stuff.
Again, thanks for your help.
