John Deere Lt110 P.T.O.

I just got my J.D. tractor out to mow and the blade won't engage. It did for a while and when I turned it off to go through the gate to the front yard it won't reingage. The handle just flops around like it's not attached to anything. Anyone have any ideas as to why and how I can fix it. It's hard to mow without the blades spinning.

Jim,

Your going to have to look it over, Make sure the belt is still in place on all pulleys then look at the other side of the handle and see if a engagement rod/cable popped loose.

Good Luck

I found the handle was not attached to the block that controls the cable to turn on the pto. I don't know if its a screw or a pin that is missing but am going to the J.D. store and see what I need to order to get it fixed. I hope its a screw as a pin or a hollow sleeve would require more tear down to get in and fix it.
