Starting point for both is 1-1/2 turns out.

i don't want to insult you but please be carefull setting the carb if you're not experianced. i've sold alot of saws and pistons due to faulty adjustments and you have one fine saw there worth taking care of. start as indy said at 1 1/2 turns out. if you didn't move the stop adjustment for idle speed then adjust the L so that idle is smooth and the chain doesn't creep. make sure you have a clean air filter before adjusting the high side. with the throttle wide open adjust the high by closing it untill the engine runs fast and smooth, then open it slightly to cause it to stumble ever so slightly. you don't really want it to "scream" as this indicates a lean mixture.
a shop will set this properly with a tach for a reasonable price and it's highly worth it.
