Very stubborn generator rotor

Still have a knock in the engine so it's time to plastigauge the rod, but the sweet little rotor is causing me alot of grief.

How on earth aside of a 12lb sledge, does this thing come off?

I have the long bolt loosened so it won't hit the floor but i'm afraid of bending the crank if I hit it any harder. Used a dead-blow, 3 lb sledge with a 2x4 under it, striking on the bearing race.

Any thoughts more than welcomed

If you can find one, try a longer bolt than the original one. One long enough that it can bottom out in the crankshaft and still not tighten the rotor so you can hit it with a hammer and not ruin the threads. Then while pulling the rotor, hit the bolt and see if it knocks loose. I've always been lucky enough to be able to knock them off with a sharp side blow.
