how do i remove the valves?

Iam currently rebuilding a 5HP B&S and I dont know how to remove the valves on it can anyone help?

here are the numbers off of the engine i dont know if they will help modle: 82502 type:0150 01 code:6504121

This is a really old engine (from the '60s)? If so, remove the valve cover on the side of the engine, then using a briggs valve spring compressor, you can compress the springs to get the retainers off and then pull the valve out.

Old is right April 12, 1965 and it is a 3 hp, not a 5. The trick is to slip the jaw of the compressor between the spring and the retainer, when the retainer loosens flip it off the valve stem with a small screwdriver.
