weedwacker won't keep running

My Craftsman weedwacker 17" 24cc will start, run for a few seconds, then stop. I have it on full choke. If I try to start it with half choke or no choke, it will crank, but will run for less time. I have replaced the fuel tank and lines, which were rotten. I thought this was my problem (not getting continuous fuel supply. But maybe it's something else?

Check the fuel filter and put a new diaphragm in the carburetor (usually in a kit and not hard to install). You'll be weed-wacking in no time.

So the fuel filter and carburetor diaphragm come in the kit together? Where can I buy these?

No the fuel filter would be one part and the diaphragm would come in a kit with some other carburetor parts. Most small engine shops would carry both.
