Are these engines swapable

I have two B&S engines 126312-0616-B8 and 120212-0528-B8. Are the crankshaft outputs on these engines the same size etc. I am trying to install the 120xxx engine which is currently on a chipper on a push blower which currently has the 126xxx engine.

Hard to say without a Briggs sales manual. Why not remove them and measure the shafts?

They're not the same diameter cranks. The 126312 is 3/4" diameter with a keyway and the 120212 is 5/8" diameter with a threaded end. Furthermore, the lengths are different as well. In other words, they're not compatible.
