Stihl 021 wont start
I had been using my stihl chainsaw for a couple of hours. I decided to take a break. When I went to crank it again I notice it was hard to crank but got it running and used again. By now I needed the chain sharpen so I got a new spark plug at the same time thought that was the reason it was hard to crank. When I finish putting the plug it and tried to crank nothing. It did smell like it was flooding out so I let it sit but it still wouldn't crank. What should I check for?

Check for bright blue spark first at a grounded plug. If OK purge the gas from the cylinder with full throttle, choke & ignition off and plug out. Then plug back in, half choke and full throttle.

You may need to clean and recondition the carb. Sounds like something may be interfering with the needle and seat seal.
