Grease or Not?

Recently installed new mandrel on my craftsman lawn tractor.

It appeared that the bearing were encased and not accessable.

Was I supposed to grease anything in the mandrel prior to installing and using?

Thanks

No, the bearings are sealed. Some mandrels come with grease fittings, and if yours does, it won't hurt to grease it if you want. Most nowadays aren't grease-able.
