Sears Craftsamn riding mower still have power problems after repairs

I took my Rider to an area Small engine shop that has been in buiness for quite some time and he has adjusted the valves and we also have fixed a leak from the gas tank but engine still must run for long time on choke before we try to back off and engine will die after has warmed up , he also has checked the system for bad water and dirt and we continue to have problems . we have not had any luck in finding the problem .

The carburetor needs to be removed, cleaned and reconditioned.

Carb needs a thoro cleaning making sure the main jet is clean. I would also replace the gas hose and gas filter, Both are inexpensive. Filter could be clogged and Cheese said it in another thread the inner wall if the gas hose could be collasped. Also try a new spark plug. Are you using fresh (less than a week old) gas?
