Briggs and Stratton Vanguard
Hi
Anyone help,I have a twin cylinder Briggs and Stratton Vanguard Ride on Lawnmower.Both coils have burned out and both diodes on the earthing lead have blown. m nervous to replace the parts without discovering the reason why this has happened.

You are right to be nervous. Voltage is being applied to the kill wires on the coils, which will burn up new ones immediately. Has the ignition switch been changed recently? Do you have a voltmeter to check for power at the ground wire?
