lawnmower bags

is it safe to put lawnmower bags in a top load washing machine. take the bag off the frame and put it on the delicate cycle. then have it air dry.

You can try it. But why do you want to wash it? Did you run over a squirrel with your mower or run thru a pile of fresh cow manure? LOL (save the manure. it is the best fertilizer out there).

the manual says to wash it down with a hose now and then as the micro holes get clogged with dirt and dust and that can impede performance.

LOL i would definitely be single if I ever tried that around here. You have the right idea but rinsing it with the garden hose and hanging it to dry is more than adequate.
