Replacing Belt on Murray Riding Mower
I have a Murray 2.538 Model # 285707 Type 0113-01 mower that was given to me. I can't read the belt information under the seat. I have purchased a 4L 850 belt from Napa Auto Parts which is the same as the one that broke. I can't figure out how to put it on and do not have the manual. I need instructions and/or a diagram. Also does this mower have more than one belt?

I'm not to familliar wth Murray mowers, But look under the running boards as a lot of units have a decal to help,, As with most mowers, The "V" part of the belt fits into the "V" pulleys,, & the back part of it will run on the flat Idler pulleys.. I'm sure if you look @ it close, you'll figure it out,, Also look for the belt decal under the running boards... You may have more than one belt,,, Are you talking about the entire machine,, Or just the deck drive???? Roger
