Honda HRS21 Choke hold
I have a Honda HRS21 that I bought new 15 years ago. I do a very small portion of the yard, so it meets my needs. Currently, the engine dies unless it is in the "Choke" position. I was wondering if this is a simple problem to fix. Any ideas?

It's usually a carburetor cleaning fix, although it can be a fuel flow issue. Either is DIY work.
You might try Sea Foam in the gas. I've had really good luck with it as a first try. It runs about $8.00 a can (12 oz, I believe). You can get it at about any auto parts store.
Put a couple of ounces in a gallon of fresh gas, put the new gas in the mower and let it run. A lot of times it'll clean up the carb for you. If you don't see some results in about an hour of running time you'll have to have the carb cleaned.
If you go the carb cleaning route, with a 15 year old mower, it might be a good time to do a carb kit as well.
