what is the torque for the flywheel nut on a Briggs engine model 124702 type 3186-01 code 91111859

thanks had to replace the flywheel key. mower works good.

Go to the following link for the B&S Check chart - Common Specs for all popular engine models:

Look at the line for 120000 model series and you will see the torque is 55 ft lbs. Not much different from the 60 in 31YTech's post. The B&S site has lots of good info in their FYI and have been very prompt in responding to my emails for info not posted. Even sent me a couple of pages from their repair manual. Good luck!

I believe that 55-60 Ft. Pds. in quite standard. It's not a car so it doesn't need 80 Lbs on there.
