Honda Harmany215 self propelled tranny/wheel prob

Hi I have a Honda HRM 215 two speed rear wheel drive walk behind mower. My mower only likes to turn right whether the drives engaged or not. Left wheel locks up when tryin to spin backwards. Also right wheel dosent really drive well when it is engaged no balls. Is my tranny smoked? Does it need fluid? Just put new belt and adjusted engage cable. Dont know anything about the tranny dont have manual and was given to me by freind. Any insight greatly appriciated the thing mows great hate to junk! Thanks again nick.

Not sure on your specific model without documentation, which you should be able to find here Honda Power Equipment - Operator's and Owner's Manuals

There are ratcheting mechanisms in the axles that drive the wheels and allow them to turn independently, most likely just needs cleaned up and some love applied
