craftsman riding mower 17.5

craftsman riding mower 17.5

While mowing the lawn, mower sputtered and died. Now it won't restart. engine cranks with no catch. plenty of oil and gas. Help.

Do you hear the click of the fuel solonoid in the carb when you turn the key?? Do you have spark @ the plugs??? Are the plugs wet??? Have you checked the fuse (if it has any???) Check these things out & post some engine numbers as well as mower numbers so the pros know what you have for a mower/engine assy... Roger

Not a real good source of help here...but I had something similar happening w/ my mower. Turns out it had sucked the pre-air filter into the air intake. I fished it out of there and it started working again.
