Remove the spark plug and see if it pulls then.

Sounds like it's flooded. The carb is leaking gas into the cylinder. Is the spark plug wet when you remove it?

I do not want to sound rude,,, I have had several chainsaws, weed trimmers, hedge clippers etc brought to me to fix a ""No Start"" condition... They have started with no problem for me,, but the owner brought them back the next day.. Only to find they weren't strong / fast enough with the starter rope???You need a good pull on these little 2 strokes & a good amount of engine speed to get the spark to get it to run!!!! Good luck..... Roger

yea I have the same problem sometimes you just got to wait a minute, or my homlite will pull but in the middle these some pretty hard spots that really jerk your wrist, just got to pull hard I guess.
