Flymo...the next step

Flymo...the next step
Well, I'm still messing with the Flymo I posted about before. Thinking I may have poor compression I bought a gage and tested it. It was about 30psi. A buddy of mine told me of a old trick of putting some oil in the cylinder to increase compression. Well I did that and low and behold it started! It ran only for a short while, which he said it would do. I did it a few more times and each time it ran a little longer. Long enough for me to play with the carb settings. I then got it running. After about 2 mins or running I shut it down to see if I could restart it and I could not, though I did not try the oil again. I looked before at the cylinder walls and they were clean.
So....what is my next step?
So....what is my next step?

Not digging an old post but just wanted to post an update.
After getting the motor to run and I able to get it going by adding the oil and starting. Used it for a little while and shut it down. Brought it to my friends place about a week or so later and got it running again with the same procedure. Ran an entire tank of gas through it. Restarted fine just pulling it. Next day started it with a little starting fluid and a few pulls
Asked him the other day and he says it still starts. So I'm guessing the rings were a little off or just stuck but it seams to be fixed now.

if it sat for awhile then the compression rings could have
froze shut with corrosion. the oil would free them eventually. pb blaster would work better and faster next time.
