Poulan/weed eater trimmer will not start
I have a Feather Lite (FL21) Weed Eater and it will not start. It started after the Primer bulb was cracked and damaged and I replaced it. The bulb looked like its fitted properly and seated well. I tried everything I know and still no success. Can someone please tell me where to start? Thanks for any information.

Do you have spark?? Have you tried a plug??? If it's old enough that the primer bulb dried out & cracked,, You may as well put a kit in the carb & replace the fuel lines,,, Todays fuel is rough on plastic & rubber.. Also make sure all the cylinder bolts are tight... Roger

I can replace the fuel lines but how do I go about putting this kit in the carb? Where can I get the kit? All bolts are tight. I tried to check for spark but its kind of difficult to check while pulling the string and looking for spark at the same time. Any easier way to do this?
Thanks for your input.

Check spark @ night & I use a jumper cable with alligator clips on the ends to get a good ground,, one end fastened to the cylinder cooling fin the other on the hex part of the plug,,May need an assistant still 'tho,,,You can get a carb kit @ any small engine shop,, Take the carb to them... I.D the carb by manufacturer after you have the carb off the machine,, than check the manufacturers web site.. Walbro, Zama etc have excellent troubleshooting / repair manuals on their sites... Not hard, really, Roger
