Vanguard 627cc/23HP Vtwin blown rod, need parts

My BS generator went down last night with blown rod. The model number on the engine is "1B SXS.6272HW 274869"

Where can I go for parts? Rods, pistons possibly even short block if available? I searched and couldn't find listing for the above p/n or anything resembling it. The generator is a Briggs & Stratton 12kW model 01815-0 natural gas fuel.

This seems like a problem with vanguard engines from reading related posts...blown or broken rods. All was in order with the engine re fresh oil and maintenance.

Help please

If you're looking for parts or a short block, why not try the local Briggs & Stratton dealear???? Get to know them & they may be able to help you out with lots of other things..... Roger
