How to remove belt shroud on Craftsman mower

Need to replace the self propelled drive belt on my Craftsman mower. I can't figure out how to remove the shroud underneath the deck. Any help would be appreciated.

You didn't post any numbers,, so anything is going to be a guess... Some of them use the engine mounting bolts,, some have bolts of there own... Clean it off really well & look close with a good flashlight & you'll see it after you get the grass dug out of the way... Maybe post the model & serial numbers if you still have trouble & the Pro's will get you going!!! Roger

Without a model number posted, Some have ears on them that hold them in place. But, You have to remove the blade and blade adapter from the end of the crankshaft to drop the cover down off the crankshaft.

Good Luck
