New Craftsman Mower Won't Start
Have a brand new Craftsman mower with about 5 uses on it. My lawn in the city can be mowed in less than 10 mintes so we're talking les than an hour on this thing. After a couple uses it started acting up and not starting. You prime it three times, it runs and then dies seemingly when the prime injected gas burns off. It's got new gas in it, and obviously the plug and other things are brand new.
I just was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or knows anythign I can do to it short of taking it back, which with a small car is not an easy chore.

Yep. It came full, and I checked it and added some. Still up to the top of the dip stick mark.

If you do bring to a shop for repair it would not be covered under warranty if it is a fuel problem. Even though it has new gas I would drain it and drain the carb. There is a bolt on the bottom of the carb that holds the bowl on. Removing that will drain the carb and get rid of any water or anything else that is there.
