Briggs carb problem

Hello all, My grandfather has a gas edger with a briggs model 80202-2221-01 on it. It was given to him. It wont start. I can get it to run on carb cleaner so I'm going to rebuild the carb. Thats not the problem.

When you push the throttle down it closes the choke. When you go to run it doesn't open the choke. I can't find a diagram that show how the actual linkage is hooked up. I don't know if theres a spring or linkage rod missing thats suppossed to open the choke? I't an air vane governer. Any help would be great. Thanks

Need illustration for Briggs & Stratton governor linkage

I have a B & S engine Model # 082502 type # 0 115-04 code # 6408-115
I need a diagram on how to hook up the linkage from the governor to the throttle.
Does any one know where I can find this information? I tried the B & S web page but it did not like the numbers I gave it .
