Craftsman Blower

I was googling craftsman blower won't start and I found this site. My model is 358.794960 and it just quit while I was using it. Some advice said to check the obvious like does it have gas and clean filters. I went ahead and took the body apart and fuel lines were good but I looked at the head bolts just by chance and I saw an o' ring type gasket sticking out and looked closer the head bolts was backed out. Put everything back together and it started right up. Suspect this might be a cause for alot of won't run conditions.

Yeah I had a similar issue with an older Craftsman handheld blower. Would run, but only for seconds and was very erratic. Took it apart and found loose intake bolts. I used a bit of high temp. silicone on the gasket and put those bolts back in with a dab of RED LocTite. Worked like a charm..... Later!
