Changing chainsaw piston and cylinder

This is the first time I have been inside a chainsaw motor. Its a husky 55 rancher and the piston and cylinder have grinded together. I'm going to buy the kit with the cylinder, piston and ring, etc. I was very surprised that I couldn't find any articles on the internet guiding the process. It looks pretty self explanitory, but I was wondering if I could get any tips. I'm still not sure how I'm going to compress the ring. Thanks for any help!
