Huskee Briggs & Stratton 6.25 (DO7019CN)
Hi All,
I have a Huskee mower with B&S engine (6.25hp). The mower worked fine a few weeks ago, but I tried using it this weekend and it was not gonna happen. I took the air filter off and primed it a few times, and I can see fuel (not spraying) running out. I bought a tune up kit, I have new gas, plenty of oil, new spark plug and new air filter. When I start the mower it will run for abut 1 minute and then quit; however, if I remove the air filter and spray starting fluid into the chamber it will run........I have to keep spraying bursts into it though.
Is it possible that my problem is the carb too?
Thanks for any help!

Ensure the fuel cap is venting and not blocked. Loosen the cap and let the engine run. If it runs without shutting off replace cap or unblock vent.
The carburetor may just need better cleaning.
Post model, type and code numbers if you need additional help.
