Honda HRR216VXA left wheel clicks, little power

My Honda mower clicks on the left wheel. I took off the bottom plate of the transmission and a bunch of fluid leaked out. My owner/op manual doesn't talk about the transmission. Is this just motor oil?

I did find the source of the issue, the small cog that attaches to the axle in the wheel assembly is slightly stripped. I guess I will need to see an authorized repair center to get a replacement part, but I would like to get another mow in before the snow falls.

It's probably gear oil in the tranny. 90 weight or so should be fine.
