Craftsman chainsaw no start
I have a craftsman chainsaw model no. 917.353774. 3.7 ci with about a 14 inch bar that won't start. Plenty of fuel and new plug. Checking the plug I find that there is no spark. Have disconnected the kill switch still no spark. What do I check next? Thanks to anyone's opinion.

Make sure the plug is in good shape and grounded. Then, with the kill disconnected, watch for the spark in a darkened room if possible. Then if no spark - replace the ignition module. They run about $50.00.
That will likely get the spark, but pull off the muffler/spark arrester before you buy anything. If the cylinder and piston are scored, don't put any money into it. You're better off getting another saw.
