identifation problems on old tecuseh
i need to find the seiral number for this thing i cant find it anywhere all the tags are gone and where the info should be and i know that there is another way but i dont know what it is i really need help on this i have all the numbers stamped into the parts and block itself please if you know anything let me know

There is no way to find a serial number except on the engine. If the serial number is missing, it is history.
Go to the link below and download manuals, as needed, and you may identify the model of the engine.
Post a photo and maybe someone will know what model it is.

If that part of the shroud where the numbers is, is rusty or worn try to lightly rub it with a paint pencel. I have lefted off the numbers like that many times.

if i gave you what appeared to be a serial number stamped into the block would you be able to at least get me pointed in the right direction
