Tecumseh Output Shaft

Today I picked up a 8HP Yardman Walk Behind Leaf Blower with a spent motor. I had a 8HP motor in the shed from an old snowblower. The motor looks to be identical except for the output shft. The OEM has a tapered shaft, mine has no taper. Is there such a thing as an adapter or am I looking for a new crank?

It was pretty scored and looked like it was run without oil. Not sure if it would be worth the attempt.

If the alumunium from the rod has transfered to the crank due to lack of oil,,it can be cleaned up with Muratic Acid... If it has more damage than that than you are correct,, it may not worth the attempt.... Sorry,,, Roger

I honed down the triple pulley from the old snow blower and welded it to the impeller. It works great!
