tecumseh carb adjustment and RPM settings

I just put a new 632334a carb on my tecumseh 143.948001 8hp engine on my Craftsman mod#536.886811 snowblower and I'm wondering, besides adjusting carb by sound,is there a way to hook up a multimeter for rpm's,where? and what are the RPM's to adjust too. Thanks

Adjustment is 1-1/2 turns out from lightly seated on both screws. Max RPM 3400. No way to hook up a multimeter. You would need an induction meter to read RPM.

Hi Indy,
Thanks so much for your reply. Now I'm on the right track. If I understand right I would put an Induction meter on the spark plug wire then put machine on full throttle and adjust bottom bowl screw until I rech 3400 or as close as possible to that?
