Can't figure out what engine is on my machine

I have an old Airens snowblower model #924050, it has a tecumseh 8hp engine on it but I can't find a model number. The only marking I can find on the engine is a sticker that says Cast Iron Cylinder. Anybody have a clue? I need a recoil start assembly and want to make sure I get the right one.

Depends on how old it is. Easiest thing to do is take it off and bring it in to your local small engine shop.

Remove the electric starter switch & you'll find the model numbers.

Look on the side of the recoil/ fan housing. Near the bottom. Should be a plate or sticker.
