B&S voltage regulator

Have a B&S 20G414 running Simplicity snowblower. Voltage regulator 698315 has output of 13.5 vdc at idle and 14.6+- vdc at full speed. Blowing 1156 single contact bulb at full power??
Any thoughts as to output of vr or rating on bulb?

Your voltage is fine. I suspect low-grade (chinese) bulbs and/or excessive vibration causing the bulbs to blow.

Can you let me know what you figured out. I'm having the same problem! I got 20amps at the bulb at first start up then 14 at idle.. Blew 3 bulbs so far

Atlas snowblower parts

I looking for a input shaft for a atlas snowthrower 2 stage. I broke the gear in the center of the shaft for the augers. It connects to the worw gear in the gear box in the center of the augers. They tell me the part is no longer being made. Part number is 709551. And the model of the snowblower is a522 can someone help me out or lead me in the right direction.Read More

Snapper snow thrower Model 190412 stalls after 10 min of running

We have an old snapper Mod.190412 type 2738-01, ser. 1904122738-018307that has been stalling after 10 or 15 minutes of running. we hve replaced spark plug,made sure there was a spark,dismantled carb and cleaned everything(bowel,fuel injector, floater and replaced floater pin) and it still stalled after 10 min. running.Any suggestions? Does model have points and condensor that might be the cause. we have also put in higher octane gas and checked all fuel line and put in new fuel filter.:madhell:Read More
