Craftsman 22" Snow Thrower Scraper broken

I have a Craftsman 536.881500 22" 5hp snow thrower. My problem is that the auger housing assembly is broken where the Scraper Blade should attach. Does anyone know of a way to repair this without having to replace the entire auger housing assembly. I just installed a new auger, so I already have some $'s wrapped up in it. I did that before I realized that the housing assembly was damaged. I can't find a good picture of what it SHOULD look like, so I am having a difficult time knowing how I can repair it. Any help would be appreciated.

After looking on CRAFTSMAN | Model #536881500 | SNOWTHROWER, GAS | AUGER HOUSING | SearsPartsDirect.com

It appears that the auger housing is most likely plastic. So you may just have to spend the $79 for a new auger housing part # 1501852MA.
