Question about repair of Craftsman Lawn Tractor Model 917273637

I am repairing my lawn tractor, Sears Craftsman Model #917273637. The schematic for the Ground Drive is shown at CRAFTSMAN | Model #917273637 | TRACTOR | GROUND DRIVE | SearsPartsDirect.com
(or http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_pn...5086-00003.png ), and it shows part #2 [Spring return brake t / a zinc] but does not show what this part should be attached to. Does anyone know how to attach this part?

Thanks!

I think it hooks in a hole on the side of the frame. Have a good one. Geo

It hooks over the brake arm and to the front bolt of the brake assembly.

Thanks much!

Seems to have done the trick. I've got the snow plow on it and will be testing it tomorrow.

Appreciate it!
