Snow Blower - Craftsman
My craftsman snow blower suddenly quit working yesterday.
It is 3.8 HP 4-cycle, Auger Propelled. Model # 536.885200
Yesterday it started fine as usual and it worked fine for about half hour. And suddenly the engine stalled. It didn't sound like it stalled due to running out of gas. It stalled as some thing broke. Then I tried to restart it by pulling the starter handle. Then I found that the handle is stuck.
I am wondering what could be the source of the problem. Could it be the belt? But why is the handle stuck?
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I brought the machine to a tech. He suggested that I buy a new one. Engine locked up. He said it ran low on oil.
I bought a new one already at Menards. MTD 4-cycle single-stage. This one seems to be a different animal. I find it hard to add oil unlike Craftsman. The oil port is located in a wierd position that makes it simply pour from the bottle. The craftsman oil opening is located right on the top. It makes it easy to add oil.
