chain saw cover broken bolt
Hello
I have a Poulan(green)20" gas chain saw..The last time I used it, 1 of the bolts broke off with the nut attached ..It has 2 bolts that hold the cover on and the chain bar tight(cover also has brake)..My question is...how do I fix this....Doesnt seem like theres a way to remove the broken bolt....If it mattereds..the bolt that broke off is closest to the bar not the handle..Any help or suggestions are appreciated

Depends on what saw you have. A model number would help. I suspect your bar studs probably go through the oil tank and out to the outside. If so, you should be able to use a punch and knock the bolt through into the tank, tie a wire to the new one and feed it into the tank and pull it through.
