troy bilt leaf blower
I am having trouble starting my troybilt leaf blower. It will only start if i prime the carb. Once i get it running it does not run well. The cylinder is tight. I think i need to clean the carb. What is the best way to do this? It is a model tb320bf.

Yes, the carb is plugged.
You can get some ideas on how to do the task by going to u-tube and searching for "carburetor cleaning" videos.

Clean the carb & install the complete repair kit.. If this is an older unit,, You'll find the diaghragms as stiff & don't respond to the engines demand for fuel... Clean it out as SeattlePioneer suggests & put it together with a new kit... Make sure to adjust the meetering lever to the spec that can be found on the carb manufacturers website (they have Excellent service manuals)) Roger
