Honda GXV140 Carburetor removal

I have a Honda HRM215 K3 SXA lawn mower with a GXV 140 engine. I would like to remove the Carburetor for a thourgh cleaning before investing in a replacement. I have removed the aircleaner and its housing. I don't find any hex to put a wrench on to remove the studs that appear to fasten the carb. to the engine.

How do I go about removing the carburetor?

Put both nuts on one stud, jam them tight to each other, and use that to remove the stud, then do the same on the other stud.
