An old 110, or LT110? What info do you want?

I need craftsman transaxle help

I just joined DIY so I hope I am posting my question correctly??? Can anyone tell me how to repair my 4360-140 craftsman transaxle, it wont shift? Where do I begin? I have removed it from the tractor, now do I open it up and start replacing parts or buy another one? How difficult is it to repair the one I have? Is it worth the time and money to do so? Where can I buy a replacement unit?

Tks Hillbilly

I'm no Xpert. But if there's an oil supply to the transaxel, I'd check the oil level.

You can open it up and see.... that's the only way to know what's wrong with it and if it's worth repairing. They typically are easy enough to repair if you pay close attention to how it comes apart and you put it back together properly.

try MyTractorForum.com - Tractor Forum & information, Discussion Board and Heavy Equipment Information. Just a bunch of tractor heads there and a lot of great advice. I fix a lot of things on my craftsman and they have been very helpful.

Hillbilly, might be better if you had your own thread for Craftsman, this one belongs to a JD problem.
